La "nostra" Irlanda...

Irlanda SU 2026 3

Irlanda SU Aprile 2026 1

During our stay, we visited stunning landscapes, attended school classes where we studied English, and delved into fascinating contemporary topics like Artificial Intelligence.

While the academic part was engaging and thought-provoking, we felt that we could have explored even more about Irish traditions and customs to deepen our understanding of the local way of life.

Our journey took us through two vibrant cities: Dublin and Bray. Both places charmed us with their lively atmosphere, bustling streets, and an array of attractions. Dublin, in particular, captivated us with its mix of modern energy and rich history. We loved strolling through its charming neighborhoods, where we discovered hidden gems like museums, lush parks, and a breathtaking coastal walk. The streets were alive with talented street artists—singers, musicians, and performers—who added a magical touch to our explorations. Through the days we also had some free time: one evening we even got to go bowling!!

Every day was filled with exciting visits, including museums that showcased Ireland’s art, history, and culture. From our experience the most fascinating one was the National Gallery of Ireland: so many magnificent paintings and works of art. However, one experience stood out above the rest: our visit to James Joyce’s Tower. That day was simply magical. The weather was perfect, the landscape was breathtaking, and the path along the coast offered stunning views of the ocean.

Another highlight was the walking tour in Dublin, led by a guide who brought the city’s history to life. With his engaging storytelling and humor, he made the past feel vivid and relatable. We learned so much about Irish history and culture, from the city’s iconic landmarks to its lesser-known but equally fascinating stories. One of the most memorable stops was St. Stephen’s Green Park, a sprawling oasis in the heart of Dublin. The park was a haven of tranquility, featuring serene lakes, vibrant flowers, and a grand entrance adorned with bullet marks from a past civil war. It was a stark reminder of Ireland’s complex history, yet it also served as a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

All in all, this trip was more than just a journey—it was a transformative experience. We returned home with not only improved language skills, but also a deeper appreciation for Irish culture, history, and the beauty of travel.

It was a week filled with laughter, discovery, and unforgettable moments that we’ll cherish forever.

Irlanda SU Aprile 2026 2

From the 19th to the 25th of April 2026 our class, together with two other classes of our school, went on a school trip to Ireland. The experience was really life training, extremely informative and we really appreciated it. We had the opportunity to see a completely different reality, a country with its own traditions and culture; in fact we were hosted by families, who welcomed us in their houses, sharing their daily lives with us. Among the many skills that we were able to reinforce there is definitely the use of the English language: we had the possibility to be in contact with native speakers every day, to attend an interesting course that focused on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI), which also helped us develop digital competences. We were immersed in the beauty of stunning places both in Bray and Dublin, discovering new awesome spots every afternoon with a guide or our teachers.

We really enjoyed this trip, and we will certainly carry it in our hearts forever.

Class 4DU

In April 2026, we had the opportunity to spend a week in Ireland with other classes and teachers of our school. This was a unique experience that allowed us to improve our English and to meet another culture.

We saw a lot of beautiful places and we also went to school where we studied English, but not only, we also talked about some current topics such as AI.

We enjoyed the time spent at school, because those topics were interesting, however we would have liked to learn something more about Irish culture and traditions.

We loved both cities, Dublin and Bray, because there were a lot of shops, beautiful places like museums, parks and a wonderful walk along the ocean. In the streets there were always street artists good at singing and entertaining.

We also enjoyed all the things that we visited, in fact, every day we had to visit different museum, but the most beautiful one for us was the James Joyce’s Tower. That day we had a lot of fun and also the landscape was magnetic, the weather was good, there was a path and all along the way you could see the ocean where locals were swimming and sunbathing.

Another visit that we liked very much was the walking tour in Dublin. A guide led us around the city showing the most beautiful monuments and places, telling us the story of all of them. He was very funny and he was very good at explaining, in fact we understood everything he said, in this way we also learnt a lot about Irish history and culture. One of the most interesting and beautiful places of the city for us was St. Stephen's Green Park. It was a very big park that had a lot of little lakes and flowers. It also had a monumental entrance with an arch that had the signs of some bullets that were shot in a previous civil war. We really liked this park because it was also a place of peace from all of the crowded and noisy streets of Dublin.

All in all, we had a really good time: it was a wonderful experience, and we recommend it to you all!
